Message from WISPPA President Mary Urquhart
The City Council Candidate Forum hosted by WISPPA and the Chamber of Commerce and moderated by the League of Woman Voters, LWV, was a huge success. A standing room only crowd filled the City Council Chambers as the LWV compiled questions and allowed each contested race candidate to give a timed response. We applaud the candidates and the crowd for thoughtfully answering the questions by citizens who were a model of decorum. According to our City's rules, we could not livestream the forum. However, the Chamber of Commerce recorded it so that we now have been able to post the recording on all of our respective websites. |
