Bradfest III featuring Jeff Dale & the South Woodlawners + more Saturday, Aug 17, 2019 – 5:30pm Jeff Dale & the South Woodlawners will headline the Blue Guitar room with a CD release celebration for Blues Power, an impressive new album that radiates Jeff’s hard-scrabble beginnings on the south side of Chicago. The performance will feature an eclectic mix of guest musicians including, what you might not expect at a blues show — the principal cellist of the LA Opera. Angel Town Combo can cross genres with ease, playing everything from soul and surf to straight ahead jazz and swing — reminiscent of a classic, late-night talk-show band. The Salty Suites are a dynamic three-piece acoustic band with blazing instrumentals, beautiful vocals, and soaring harmonies. Dave Tull has long been known as one of the world’s finest jazz drummers, frequently working with artists such as Barbara Streisand, Michael Bublé, and Chuck Mangione. He is also a gifted jazz singer and songwriter. His latest release, Texting and Driving reached #5 on the Billboard Jazz Album chart. Rounding out the lineup are two more Chicago natives: Jodi Siegel, a gifted blues rooted singer, songwriter and artful slide guitarist; and Raspin Stuwart, a seasoned song crafter with a soulful delivery. Colerick and a number of other performers and guests will trade songs at a third acoustic stage near the first tee where anyone is welcome to join in. An instrument check room will be available for those who bring instruments. The Arroyo Seco Grill will feature an outdoor barbecue in addition to their regular menu, plus craft beer and wine specials. Family activities and games will be on hand. The 18-hole par-3 golf course, miniature golf, and driving range will also be open. The evening kicks off at 5pm and music continues until 10pm.
